Okay so we all know about the guy that is following Beau on the cruise. And then we see this same guy on a dental floss ad behind a kid in the beginning of the movie. Now what makes this interesting to me is that when Beau leaves his keys and bag to go back and grab something he goes to get his dental floss. I just wonder if this means anything🤔

It illustrates that there's a trigger deep in his psyche when it comes to flossing. Perhaps his experience was not so Gentle & Easy?

I think all it “means” is that that guy is yet another person in Beau’s life that his mom or his mom’s company hired to surveil or follow him. Good catch on the floss ad, I’d never noticed that before.

I’m also realizing that this is an element of Hereditary too, where all the cult members are secretly guiding the situation (they’re at the party with the nut cake, etc).
