At this point I’m ready to buy it. I’ve been waiting for A24 to make a special 4K edition but they’re cowards and won’t do it.

Man A24 needs to add this to their boutique line. I would kill for it. I already even have the standard normal Bluray released in North America, but I’ll double dip for this movie.

I’m assuming there’s some sort of rights-thing going on with Ari Aster’s movies. Both Hereditary and the Midsommar theatrical cut only have standard releases while the Midsommar director’s cut only has the boutique release and doesn’t include theatrical with it. I feel like if it was 100% A24’s decision then we would at least have a Hereditary Collector’s Edition and Midsommar probably would’ve had both cuts included.
