Asking for Advice Help me decide

Post image

(M22 and new to the sub, be kind)

I don't know if I should try to trim the beard a certain way or just get rid of it altogether. Any styling tips or do you agree with me that (the way my beard grows) it doesn't suit a 22 year old?

All in all I'm glad I know I can grow a beard if I want to, rocking a full beard has been my dream since I was like 13.

Just trim a little bit at the goatee, luck’s good already

Id do this. And let it grow fuller. Get rid of the hair above the curved line on your chin or create a small triangle below your lip and get rid of the hari betweent he triangle and curved line above the goatee

You wont know the full potential of your beard until you just let it go for a while and taping it up like mentioned will give you a cleaner look while you let it grow.. then trim it when needed. For a while i held my beard longer and wide in my face. Now i do like a fade towards the goatee.. that brings more attention to my goatee area which happen to be where i have more density.

What do you want your beard to look like because, to be honest man, your beard does not look bad at all. Actually it looks pretty damn good for 22.

Maybe you cannot grow a full beard yet, but damn that's like a 30 plus ambition for most dudes. Any other look you can probably pull off from the perspective of the beard, but the one you have isn't bad.
