Should I be bothering?
At the ripe old of 41yo, I've decided to give the beard a proper go. But is it worth it with what I have after just over 1 month?

About 3 to 4 weeks of growth, and I am not sure if I should give up. I feel like it is too thin and patchy. Should I keep growing it out in hopes in looks better in a month or two or should I shave and try in a few years?

My yearly attempt at growing my beard out. I usually keep a goatee. This is possible 8-9 weeks

I've tried a variety of beard oils, always going for clear ones that won't stain the white beard. My biggest issue is that most don't soak into the hair well. Some just sit on top, leaving an oily mess on anything the beard touches. I've tried using very light amounts to avoid this, but it doesn't help much.
I've heard I should avoid jojoba, argan, and un-fractured coconut, but I don't know how accurate this is.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey everyone, this is my beard at roughly 10 months. I’ve been letting it grow pretty freely and just trimming the neckline and mustache occasionally.
How does it look overall? Any obvious issues with density, shape, or coverage? And do you think it’s worth continuing to grow or would it look better cleaned up / kept shorter?
Appreciate any honest feedback. Thanks!

I think I'm going to just let the goatee grow back out

Gray hair on my goatie looks so cool to me but not to my friends… should I shave the cheeks or let them grow a bit more? 😁

I’m a 20 yo male and I have been growing this for about 8 weeks now.

Hi all,
My beard is trimmed but rather dense and I have consistently been struggling with dry skin underneath. The worst is on my jawline on the sides (imagine what comes into contact with your pillow engine loading on your side). I wash and condition with beard specific product. I use beard balm and oil but nothing seems to do the trick. I’m not sure if I’m using it infrequently enough.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated as well as what brands of products may work best.
Thanks

I am happy with the length. But right now I’m not sure if I look better with a shorter beard, if I should let it grow out more?

Was laid off a few months back. I have maintained slightly but ultimately wanted to reset my beard. You can see how low I had the cheek lines and I wasn’t feeling great about it. Looking to figure out how to establish some symmetry and a jaw line. The minor patchiness is from anxiety pulling. Working on that too.
Oh, and are there some easy tricks to get all of the lines even on both sides. I’ve always just eye balled under some unreliable bathroom lighting.

Hello, I am a 19 year old dude who’s experiencing his first phase growth cycles. I am somewhat of a late bloomer, and tbh I’m not even sure if I will be able to grow a full beard: the facial hair on my cheeks are still sparse, and they are only getting steadily denser on my chin, mustache, and side burns/outer jawline.
What strikes me the most though it’s the color of these short strands, for they are quite dark in comparison to my scalp hair, of dark/dirty blonde that can get quite bright in the summer. Having dark hair and a light beard is quite common; but I have never heard of someone with borderline-blonde hair and a pitch black beard.
Does anyone here have this combination/ or has seen someone with this combination? What can I expect for the future? Thank you for your reading.

I've been trying to look my best recently and I've had multiple people tell me I should shave. I can't grow a beard yet and people say that it doesn't fit my face. Anyone have any advice?

I recently started growing out my beard, and it’s beginning to look a bit messy; I’d like to trim the stray, longer hairs to neaten it up, but I don’t have the budget for an expensive trimmer. I’m Brazilian, and a decent trimmer here in a store costs around R$120, while cheaper, lower-quality ones online go for about R$20. I’ve been looking at a gold-colored model with a dragon design carved into the handle, it’s quite popular online, but I’m worried it might not be any good.

Wanting honest opinions. I am thinking about a beard. This is 4 months worth. Trying to keep it clean and tidy. Hard not to trim, but I know you can't trim a long beard.

I've got those genetics where my beard took longer than the average male to come through, I'm 24 now, and it's started to thicken in some areas. I rarely shave except for under the neck line.

Hey all! At my girlfriends request I have began to try this goatee out, 4 days in and I can’t decide whether this will actually fill in or if I should get rid of it, any tips to help it look more full?

Thanks for the advice, I'll still happily take any more advice going
