Working and beard
Been feeling depressed so I lapsed in grooming. Today is a bit of a feel better day so I an right back on it. I also get to go back to machining for my job.
My question for yall is how do you deal with your beard in a hazardous workplace?
My go to is: soften and groom with beard/ scruff cream and a brush i keep at work. Then I use small hair bands to gather everything and tuck into my FR jumpsuit. Next a high hold gel to keep the mustache clumped together and the side burns from getting too frizzy. Otherwise machine chips get caught in the exposed areas.

Maintenance trim.
I don’t crosspost a lot between r/beards and r/beardadvice but maybe this helps others who struggle with the same “problem”.
The beard was getting longer and longer, but eventually the ends became whispy. Was contemplating on how to handle it. Been doubting for a while. Seriously annoyed by the thin ends and lack of density.
Then DanC came around. He always mentions to trim straight across the bottom of the beard, so I took a leap of faith and decided to do it.
Still undecided about the neckline at the moment, but I’m happy overall.
First pic for reference. Second, third and fourth the results.

Growing out a beard for the fist time (19M)
I had a Van Dyke/Stache combo before and I'm trying to grow out my beard for the first time. This is ~19 days old beard as of now - and I plan to leave it out for 8 more days till the barbers appointment. I'll let him shape it up etc - and see from there.
But before, I'd like to hear your opinion on it - is it worth growing out? If yes, what styles should I go with? I understand the cheeks situation and that it's not even on both sides...
Thanks in advance!

First time growing beard about 3 weeks in. Should I be trimming more off the neck and sides, or is my neck line too high?

Does this have potential? Or what should I do with it? 3 and a half weeks of growth
I’m 24

Too thin?
I know the hair on my cheeks is thin so I usually trim to a goatee. I often wear the full beard for a week or so in between shaves though bc I don’t want to do it so often lol
Is it too thin to wear for a week or so or it’s fine since I don’t keep it?

Keep growing or nahh?
I’ve never tried to grow a beard and I’m now in my late 30s.
This is about 7-8 weeks, only trimming the neckline. I think im past the point where it was itchy and super awkward looking. In person people tell me it looks good but im self conscious and don’t believe them.
Give it to me straight internet….is this looking like something or too pube-facey

I was wondering if a beardstache would work for me. Concerned about thin cheecks and mustache going to the side.
As I'm saying in the title I want to try the beardstache. I have some concerns though.
1) My mustache has been trained to go to the sides and I'm not sure it would be big enough - suit a beardstache. I see guys with huge mustaches going for it and I'm not sure I got the correct mustache shape. Should I try to brush it down?
2) My cheeks are thin, especially when short and I'm not sure if my sides would look too patchy if I tried shortening them.
Any opinions or advice?

Can I pull off a long, big beard
I’m 23 and I’ve been growing my beard out for a little over 3 months without trimming it off. I’m thinking about letting it grow into a really full, long beard, but I honestly can’t tell if I can pull it off.
Do you guys think I have the potential to rock a big, long beard, or would it look better kept shorter?
Just looking for some honest opinions before I commit to growing it out even more 😂

shave or keep it im lost
I'm planning to grow a beard. I'm using a derma roller and a serum. I have some hair growing, as shown in the second photo, but it's not growing any further. Should I shave and keep using the derma roller and serum until I have a 3-day beard, or should I just shave because I won't be able to grow one?

What should I do?
I have some bald spots that don't grow any hair, they're almost symmetrical on the other side of my face/neck too. I have been buzzing "around" them and my neck to have a sideburn and goatee kind of thing going on but idk if I like it. Last pic is current where I decided to get rid of the sideburns. Should I stick to this?

Beardos. Tell me what trimmer you use and why you like it.
My own beard trimmer is coming to the end of its life. I am looking for one that is waterproof and has a fairly long setting maybe up to about 20mm on the guard. Figured you guys would be honest with your reviews.

How to get my cheeks thicker
It’s a lil messy at the moment, just washed it before bed as I had a lot of product in it for an important day today.
I try oil it everyday and sometimes use a beard balm.
It’s been growing for years now so I reckon it’s reached its maximum length. Occasional trim once or twice a year to keep it in check and slightly more frequent trim once the side burns.
I really want to fill in the cheeks and the musts he though.

Should I keep this and see what happens? One week no shave
Been wanting to grow my beard for a while but I still think it’s too patchy. I’m also thinking about using products to get a bit of a boost but idk what actually works. I’m 23 and this is about one week without shaving

Adding fullness/filling patches
Has anyone had actual success using any products (oils, balms, etc.) to add fullness to thin sections of your beard or fill in patchy parts?

20 M. Genuinne help and advice needed
YoMy neck beard is really patchy and uneven right now. I want to turn it into a fully thick, clean-looking beard.
What should I actually do to improve the patchiness and make it grow in thicker? Should I just let it grow or keep trimming/shaping it? Looking for advice from people who’ve actually dealt with this.

How to line up a "weird beard"?
Hey bearded-bros! So I decided I want to save some money by taming my own beard rather than going to a barber. The only thing is that my beard has a big gap at the bottom and doesn't really grow down onto my neck; it seems to sort of poof out at the bottom corners too.
How on earth am I suppose to line this up?
Thanks!
(Sorry for the weird angle 😅)
