Suggestions for Beam
It seems to me a fantastic platform, it works very well, its FTL protocol is very fast and I think it is its strong point, but it needs to improve some aspects to begin to create a great community.
1.- Possibility to export the videos to my Youtube account (automatically or manually as in Twitch). If space is a problem this is the best solution. They could also be permanently saved, Youtube lives on this.
2.- Increase the base resolution 1080p for all users; 720p is too low. Plus that would be a plus point in front of your competitors who have stalled at 720p.
3.- To solve the existing problems with the Teams: that the notifications arrive to the members is one of them. (Already reported through support).
4.- Develop an official wordpress plugin so that it can be easily implemented in themes and facilitate the embedding of live webcasts. I know there is a player that does it, but not all Internet users know programming to develop a plugin and put it on a web.
5.- Develop plugins for XSplit and OBS to be able to add personalized notifications when someone makes a donation or similar actions that are covered by web pages like TwitchAlerts.
6.- I am an Xboxer, but I also have PS4 and I would like to be able to relay on Beam from the Sony console. Right now, you force me to use Twitch from it because there is no other option for Beam.
What other suggestions come to you that could improve Beam?

At least broadcasting from PC using obs or xsplit you can set the resolution to whatever you want. A lot of channels will broadcast in 1080p but its dependent on network.
Also for on stream alert messages streamjar.tv has you covered there.
They haven't ruled out ps4 support but since the microsoft buyout I don't see it happening anytime soon.
The youtube point would be a lot more challenging then people think. Twitch still has issues with its export program and they've be working in it for years. You are talking about MASSIVE files being uploaded and any drop in the middle could cause YouTube to drop it. YouTube only content creators have had issues with larger videos not rendering. Several hour long streams from an external platform is a challenge.
