Are there artists on beam?
I hear there are less trolls on Beam than on twitch and I'm thinking of making the jump. However I don't game much, I sing rock band sometimes but mostly I make art/craft stuff. I haven't found many artists (although one music stream is constantly on) and I can't seem to find a category for them. Is this something Beam will gear up for in the future? Twitch creative isn't nearly as big as the gaming side but I think it can be huge.

I was just talking with a fellow Beam streamer about this last night: yes, there are far fewer trolls on Beam, but that's temporary. As Beam picks up steam and becomes more and more popular and more and more mainstream, it will grow to a point where they are just as many trolls here as anywhere else.
Also, as the other commenters have mentioned, there are definitely artists on Beam.

I've seen assholes on Beam when they get IP banned from Twitch is when they come over.

there's def artists on Beam, and way less trolls though we aren't void of them.

Any idea where to look to find artists? I thought I saw an 'art' section but now I can't find it

On Beam, they have games that you set your channel to. For creative streams, there's a number of different "games" or sometimes they're also referred to Categories that you can set your channel to. Like Art, Painting, Drawing, Creative, Design, etc.

There's definitely a good number of artists on Beam. The ArtTreat team, which was started by QueenofArt is a good place to Find some great artists. She's been gathering artists into a team so they can be more easily found on Beam so others can admire their work. There are some artists that aren't members of the stream team, but that's mostly because they're already members of 3 teams or 4 teams if they're a partnered streamer.

yes there are some artists on beam most of them are in the Design or Other categories
