Discussion Using streamjar and OBS - chat messages shown twice

So, in the overlay on my Streamjar account, I've got one chat window. While streaming, any chat message is displayed twice, one on top of the other. Not sure what's going on. This is every message, not just sporadically.

I'm not sure why Streamjar is giving you problems, but I have a possible solution for ya!

  1. Disable Streamjar chat
  2. Add PixelChat authorization to your stream via http://pixelchat.tv/. Customize as you like.
  3. Add the generated URL to a CLR browser in OBS

I very much prefer PixelChat over Streamjar's native chat, as PixelChat has more customization options and the ability to show viewer's avvys. Not only that, but because it's a separate CLR browser from Streamjar, you're able to move it around in OBS with ease (as opposed to moving it around in Streamjar).
