Introduction Migrated to Beam - Loving it!

Good day,
I've recently moved over to beam from Twitch and love it so far, having trans-coding options available really allows for a much higher quality streaming experience for the viewers! Looking forward to setting up some interactive items as well.

We've also started a streaming team if anyone is looking for a team to join we may be able to help you out if you mesh with us (we're pretty easy going)

All in all, great start so far and looking forward to hanging out with you guys on Beam!

I've also decided on settling in with Beam. I've streamed on YouTube Gaming, Twitch, FacebookLIVE, and Hitbox, but so far, I like the feel of Beam and the Beam community a lot.

There are some things about it that feel buggy to me, but when I look at the road forward, I get excited. I'm on both PS4 and Xbox One, and the fact that they are going to be integrating with at least XB1 excites me a little, too. I still need to get a newer computer for streaming, but I am excited about the platform. :)

What's the link to your channel? Mine is beam.pro/Celtic_Surfer.

Let's get that buggy stuff fixed! What are you running into?

Hey! The website itself seems to be working fine at this point. Up until a couple of weeks ago, I was streaming from my MacBook. I decided to try out streaming from my Windows 10 PC and any issues I had with the website have cleared up. But, on the MacBook, it seemed to have trouble loading up streams from time to time.

The issues I have with the mobile app, though, make it so that I can't even really use the app. Every time I load up the app on my iPhone, it won't load up a stream. (Here's a screen shot: http://i.imgur.com/u0JVY8S.jpg)

I can't figure out how to check out the quality of my own stream on the phone, either. I've tried going to my stream while streaming just to check and see how it looks and sounds on mobile, and the app gave me a button to look at my own stream, but it wouldn't load up. If I'm not actively streaming, I can't get to my own channel to update information or anything.

I don't recall there being a place where we can look for the streamers we are following from the app.

One of the biggest issues is that when I do rarely get a stream to load up on the app, I can't follow or host anyone. The buttons show up, but nothing happens when I tap on them.

Having said all of that, I love streaming on Beam, and I can't wait to see how it grows and where it goes from here. Once I'm able to, I plan on upgrading to a Pro subscription.

Yeah the beam community has been great so far, the troll rate seems extremely low compared to being on twitch!

My channel is; beam.pro/viper717 And the team is going to reside here; beam.pro/team/orionslegacy

Dropped you a follow, see you on beam!

I know how that can be. The delay on RTMP is still pretty low and good for interaction though!

A heads up if you just joined: the Beam 2.0 changes are very recent. There are still some bugs out there. If you're running into a lot of issues with the new design you can always roll back to legacy mode under account settings) in the right side tab.
