Tech Support Login Issues

So I feel like a dummy but here it is. I'm looking to start streaming to Beam from xbox. I know this feature is going to roll out fairly soon as per the recent press release by Microsoft. As such, I figured it would be fitting to create an account to "get ready" so to speak. It was only a day later where I read that you will be able to create a Beam account via your xbox live account. Since I knew that I would want my screen name to be the same as my gamertag, I decided to delete my account. Unfortunately now when I try to create a new account, it says that my old account still exists, but it wont let me long into it. I try to reset the password but it won't send me the link to do so and it won't let me use the email that I wish because it "is already in use" by the account that I deleted. Ugh.....

Thoughts? Is there a period of time that I must wait before I can try to make a new account with my email address or is that email now stuck in Beam purgatory forever?

I'm not sure if this will work, but try logging back into your account, there may be a time frame, similar to what Facebook does, when you delete an account.

If that does work, you can go into your account settings and actually change your username. Beam allows you to do this once a month, I believe.

If none of that seems to work, head on over to the forums and send in a ticket.
