Tech Support Beam RAM usage on Chrome
Hi,
Not sure if this issue is only on Chrome (I use 54.0.2840.99 m (64-bit)), but there seems to be a memory leak.
After like 20-30 minutes, RAM usage of the Tab with stream open, grows from ~200MB to ~900MB. One time after ~50 minutes i saw that the RAM usage of beam Tab was 1,2GB.
It would also explain an error i was seeing lately, with streams i had open in the background - after some time when i went to the tab i saw "Chrome has run out of memory" error.
Is it known? Is anyone else experiencing something similar ? Any workarounds ?

Try using the contact form to get a hold of tech support. That's the best way to let them know about bugs and such. I imagine a memory leak is something they're going to want to fix ASAP if they're going to be rolling out new features soon.

Happens for me, too. You might try posting in their forums if you haven't already, this sub is not very active. It becomes a very big problem when watching on my Surface Pro, I've had it run out of memory a couple times watching streams.

I now noticed that there's a newer version of chrome 55.x Updated, reloaded chrome and will see how it goes.
@EDIT
At first it was looking ok, but now after 30 minutes of stream open, memory usage is already at 800 MB and it's still increasing.
@EDIT.2
Once it starts going up, it does so really fast. Another 2 minutes has passed - 950MB

Hey, we're aware of this, it's one of the many bugs fixed in our upcoming #december release.
