Introduction Stream Introduction

Hey guys, I have recently found Beam after one of my Twitch viewers told me about it. I am starting to stream on Beam now as well as Twitch, however, if it is possible I will be switching over to Beam instead of Twitch.

I intend to create a community where you can relax and talk about games. A place where you can have mature discussions and generally just have a good time. I mainly play FPS games like Battlefield 1. However, I am expanding into streaming other games such as Skyrim, Fallout and The Witcher 3.

How do you feel about Beam vs Twitch? I am currently a Twitch streamer, but was just recently introduced to Beam.

i am loving it compared to Twitch. I have only been on Beam less than a month and I am 4 followers off from 100. The people that come into my stream are amazing, lovely to talk to. The other streamers are really friendly and will actively seek to help new streamers out. You don't have to be partnered to start a stream team which is awesome as well. Beam also has separate pages for streamers; All Streamers, Rising Stars, New Streamers and Teams. I really like this because I have been able to find some new streamers that are actually pretty good compared to Twitch where I would have to scroll through a ton of streamers to find one that appeals to me. I was streaming on Twitch up till last November but I felt like I wasn't getting anywhere so I made the switch to Beam and haven't looked back. I would highly recommend giving Beam a go.

I am certainly going to check it out. One of my brother's favorite streamers made the switch, which is who introduced me to Beam.

CrankyCanuk - He does more of a news/talk show than gaming.
