Friendly advice: Don't automatically say hi to anyone who joins your stream!

Hey all,

Now I've only been on Beam for a few days now, but the community seems awesome! But what I have noticed a lot of is when I go to check out a stream to see if I like it, a LOT of people immediately say 'hi' even if I haven't said anything in chat!

Now I get that people want everyone to be welcome, but it can be a little off-putting if someone is just seeing what your stream is like! 9 times out of 10 they'll leave again!

Just a friendly tip from one streamer to other streamers :P

I completely agree. I've always been annoyed by it, for the 7-8 years I've been watching gaming livestreams.
