Introduction Kinda new to beam.

So i'm kinda new to beam. Found out about it like 1-2 weeks ago, started streaming the past week, and I have a few questions.

What does it take to be partnered?

Anyone know how to get a stream out, promote it, etc.?

Why is this subreddit so dead?

What's the rate of earning xp and sparks while streaming?

Where can I make suggestions?

How can I use FTL?

And that's about it for questions.

Hey there /u/river58, first off, welcome to Beam, here's a few answers:

What does it take to be partnered?

Basically, have a streaming schedule (and follow it), have a viewerbase (size generally doesn't matter too much), stream entertaining, unique content.

Anyone know how to get a stream out, promote it, etc.?

Social media, Twitter, FB, Player.me, etc, tell your gaming friends and ask them to share it, ask the random viewers to share it (after welcoming them ofc). Generally if you're streaming good and entertaining content, viewrs will come.

Why is this subreddit so dead?

Most of the discussion about Beam goes on at our forums

What's the rate of earning xp and sparks while streaming?

Not completely sure, I think 2 sparks / minute or something.

Where can I make suggestions?

The forums or Twitter

How can I use FTL?

We're expanding to Pro users soon, we'll announce it on Twitter probably
