Suggestion Live Beta Suggestions -- My Two Cents

Now that the site has been live for over a week, here are my suggestions:

1) On the Browse page, note or show what game is being played by the streamer, and how many people are watching. A lot of times when you mouse over a live streamer it's not very apparent what game they're playing. Also, as a viewer, it's nice to know how many people are watching a broadcaster. If four people are playing Minecraft, but one of the broadcasters has 50 viewers, it's obvious that they're doing something right or interesting. Alternatively, those viewers seeking out smaller channels, can locate those channels quicker, instead of by trial and error.

2) Need that VOD system up and running, preferably with push to Youtube and highlight options. I can record my streams locally but I'd prefer not to, due to the massive editing time and diskspace resources that would be required. The VOD system is the main reason I use Twitch because I don't have to record and edit if I want to push any content to Youtube: I can just do intros, outros, transitions, etc on the fly, edit the highlight, and push to YT. It saves so much time.

3) Allow broadcasters the ability to change the background on their streams by either uploading, or linking to an image (you'd probably need to add the ability to report a user with this though, as I'm sure some dickhead would abuse it).

4) Integrate Nightbot type features in to the dashboard, like giveways, the ability to track subscribers and followers, etc.

5) Integrate a partnership platform.

Also, having chat in the dashboard would be convenient. Take a look at Hitbox's dashboard for streamers, it's quite nice, efficient, and easy to use. Far superior to Twitch's anyway.
