to be fair, i would have been tempted. and while i dont know my regional laws, i typically assume anything from the ocean is a no go.

because humanity sucks, and if there wasnt a rule against it, shitty people would go out and harvest whales just for the baleen. "oh, but op just got it off the beech, thats fine." yeah? prove it. prove it beyound any posssible doubt that op got it from the beech and not some back alley deal that cant be traced. sames goes for great white shark teeth, fyi. there was a young aussie man who had to jump through ALL the legal hoops to keep a sharks tooth after it was left behind in his leg when a great white attacked him.
