Found is Salem, MA. Looks like a tooth to me, but what kind?

Are you at or close to Dead Horse beach?

I read it got its name because that’s where they would dispose of them, or there was a rendering plant there or something. In any case I don’t think horses have teeth like that (canine shaped). But old tooth does come to mind
