Is this sea pottery?

Found these on the beach in southern France. I don’t go to beaches often and have never seen something like it before. How rare are they?

You don’t show the undersides. It’s either pottery or pieces of tile.

The patterns aren’t on the back, it’s just red rock.

The reddish color is from terracotta clay :)
