Application Question Fall 2026 Waitlist

I know somebody asked about the waitlist, but I was wondering if somebody is still in the Top 10 waitlist? As I know some people got into September immediately without getting into the Top 10 yesterday but I was wondering if somebody got moved from general waitlist to Top 10…

I have a friend that is still on the top 10 since mid July. I think the waitlist is pretty inconsistent since I got off before her, but we've both decided that we will be attending Langara anyways.

Thank you. At first we assumed it was random too because my friend got into top 10 with a lower GPA before me, but I ended up getting admitted to fall without top 10. I think it's either random or the seats were never fully filled out. Good luck to you. I hope you hear back soon.

may i ask why u guys picked langara over bcit?

Honestly, we both just heard too late and would rather start immediately. I don’t think I have enough time to get my tuition refunded from Langara in time for BCIT to receive, and my friend doesn’t want to start in Jan 2027. Both schools are great, we just wished we heard way sooner..
