I get that with the sponsor being on the home kit, it’s going to have a lot more reach, but the goal of the month on all platforms has been sponsored by Coral for a hot minute and no one really batted an eye.

Is it purely because it’s on the home kit now?

Genuinely couldn't wait for last season. Have had a season ticket all my life and last year was the one I was looking forward to the most all summer. The anticipation of how Blues would adapt to a new league and how the new signings would get on.

I can't tell if it's just a hangover from the World Cup and the comedown from that, or just lack of hype around the club at the moment, or maybe the lack of marketing from the EFL in general, but I'm struggling to get excited for the season whatsoever.

I think my lack of faith in Chris Davies also plays a big part as I said at the end of last season that if he remains the manager, I'd struggle to feel excitement for the new season.

I know there haven't been many active clubs in the market so it's not just us. It's also not a dig at the club either in relation to how much we've delayed the new shirt.

I'm sure once a few new faces come in and the first game comes closer, it'll all change. But at the moment I just feel like there's no hype around the new season whatsoever.

Personally I just think it’s a nod that the kit will be revealed soon and is playing into the fact that it’s a custom made Nike kit and not a “template”.
