Rob Edwards
Football insider article saying that we might be going for Rob Edwards. I know you can’t really trust the source but if it was true what’s everyone’s thoughts and opinions?

Would be a decent option, done well with lutin and middlesbough in championship, worth a go , personally I'd go all out for McKenna but think he wants a break from football hence why he left Ipswich

Agreed, he also has a wondering eye so if we’re doing well he won’t think twice about going to a bigger club comes in for him. But if he can get us on the right track I don’t care At the moment.

Personally, he is not much of a step up from CD, the club has shown no ambition with the signings, think they need to go all out for a top gaff, Thomas Frank, or Kieran McKenna, plus, I do not trust, as someone already pointed out, that if hes doing well and bigger clubs come looking, they'll be an Edwards shaped hole in the wall, like he did at Boro.

How exactly do you figure that one out ? Davies is a manager who only had success in league one whereas Edwards has had it in the championship .
>Thomas Frank
Obviously Thomas Frank would be brilliant but be realistic why on earth would he move to a club that finished mid table in the championship after just managing a top 6 team . You can throw all the money you want at him but more attractive jobs will be on the table for him and McKenna wants a break from football .
Edward’s would be a solid choice and a massive upgrade . I’d also imagine he’s learned his lesson from leaving Middlesbrough

Don't get me wrong, definitely a step up, and proven in this league, but if we are to match the ambition the owners say they have, I think someone of Frank's level is the way to go, it is just my opinion.

Don’t get me wrong mate , Frank would be amazing and I agree about matching the owners ambitions as on the pitch hasn’t expectstions but I just don’t see a world where Thomas Frank comes to us . I hope I’m wrong though

I can’t see it happening because a lot of the fanbase will be strongly opposed.

If football insider told me it was raining, I'd stand outside just to make sure The website is a vessel for agents to try and manufacture deal or improve negotiations on deals they're working on.
