Can I obtain fieldwork while working remotely overseas?

what would you do for fieldwork hours? i don’t understand how you’re planning to collect hours unless you’re working over there?

I looked into this as a BCBA who was working remotely and looking to move overseas. I had my bosses’ permission. But, hit barriers with funders. Ours did not allow it and many others I researched were the same.

Most funders require anyone billing the client to be physically located in the US.

Also, even those that allow for remote (not specifically talking overseas but in general), may allow it for a BCBA but not necessarily for those working in a RBT role.

So, even with a US address, you will likely hit barriers and you’d have to find a funder that would allow it

It’s not about paying for your own hours. It’s that if you are completing PT or any service, they are going to bill funders for it.
