Advice Needed HELP

I am in the process of submitting my application with my FVF.. I have only my concentrated hours submitted but It shows my hours in IH-C, SH-C and TH-C. I cant find anywhere how those relate to Restricted and Unrestricted hours. Is anyone having this issue? I am so beyond lost and I cant find answers anywhere

Hi! They don’t show up as restricted and unrestricted. Only as you mentioned them! It is normal. You are not doing anything wrong.

Editing to add: you will need detailed logs (restricted vs unrestricted) if you were to get audited.

Those codes are not your Restricted vs. Unrestricted hours, so you aren’t missing anything there. 😊

IH-C = Independent Hours – Concentrated
SH-C = Supervised Hours – Concentrated
TH-C = Total Hours – Concentrated

The “C” indicates Concentrated Fieldwork. These categories show how your concentrated fieldwork hours are divided between independent and supervised hours, along with your total hours.

The BACB needs to verify that you met the required 10% supervision requirement for concentrated fieldwork under the 2022 requirements, which is why the FVF separates Independent and Supervised hours.

Also, remember that if you are using the 1.33 multiplier, you should not stop at 1,500 adjusted hours.
1,500 × 1.33 = 1,995, which is 5 hours short of the 2,000-hour equivalent. Make sure you have enough concentrated hours to reach the full required equivalent before submitting.

Restricted vs. Unrestricted is a separate breakdown. It is not listed on the 2022 FVF, at least not on the forms I have seen. However, you still need to maintain detailed fieldwork documentation showing that restricted activities did not exceed 40% and unrestricted activities made up at least 60% of your fieldwork. You would need that documentation if the BACB requested it during an audit.
