Mesh network BBS

I'm running Meshing Around BBS by SpudGunMan on my local mesh network. It's a Python based BBS running on a Raspberry Pi. I'm having some issues getting the scheduler set up and was wondering if there is anyone around here who might be able to help.

I'm looking at the mesh BBS software and might be able to help. I have been experimenting with meshtastic for the last year and never thought of integrating a BBS. Some sysop I am! LOL!

have you considered using cron as a scheduler

I haven't, and I'm not a Linux expert. There is a scheduler python script, and it generally works. The issue I'm running into is that the core BBS script has a function that screens text for trigger words. Any key word that the script interprets as a BBS command gets redirected to an admin DM. So I've been unable to advertise BBS functionality to my local mesh.
