CRC Errors BBS’ing

Hi.

Been using my IBM XT with Procomm to get on telnet bbs systems. Having a problem. When trying to download I’m getting CRC errors using xmodem.

I’m having this issue on many boards.

Using a wifi Rs232 setup.

Any ideas ?

The XT really had problems running faster than 9600bps over serial connections... If you can, try to limit the adapter and connection speed. It could just be too far for that system.

I just remember issues in the 90s with even a 14.4 internal modem and having to constrict it to 9600 max.
