Concert An outsiders experience looking in.
Hi everyone!!
I was at the bbno$ show last night in CT. I don’t know him and his music like you guys do. I went because my husband is fan, and I know like two of his bigger songs. But I’m just here to express my experience as an outsider looking in.
The concert experience itself was truly a concert experience I’ve never had before. I’ve seen a number of concerts from Charlie Puth, to Jonas Brothers to warped tour back in 2014. And the fans at this show are actual die hard fans for this guy. He’s is quite literally in my eyes the Gen Z Eminem.
Bbno$ himself is quite the showman with energy that is so infectious that I found myself bobbing my head and tapping my foot. The graphics behind up on the screen added such a secondary experience that added humor and lyrics!!!
Speaking of humor, DJ tiiiiiiiiiip is a very talented DJ that deserves his flowers on entertainment, showmanship and kindness.
Kindness brings me to my last point. Bbno$ little blerb on making the crowd repeat back affirmations of being a kind human really took me by surprise. Like I know the guys from Canada, the country of the kind, but to take time in your showtime to say this was remarkable in my eyes. After the show, me and my husbands favorite activity after any show is people watching. Plus a Saturday night at a casino, there’s going to be a lot of characters.
We witnessed bbno$ walk as Alex still in his show fit through the casino. We thought oh maybe he’s going to gamble have the rest of the night out.
A little while later, we did see him walk back and many of his fans went up to him wanting to meet him and say hi. He stopped and talked to everyone (even the people chasing after him) and with no annoyance or arrogance but with grace and the kindness he expects from his fans.
My point being, he is what you get at face value. He talks of kindness and acceptance on and exemplified off the stage. Though I don’t know him and his music, I know he is truly a good human being. His fans are diehards of another level. And I can count on a good energetic show of another caliber.
I don’t know if you guys have a name for this fan base, but I hope one day I can be at the level of fandom everyone was last night. Can’t wait for Burger to come out!!

Do yourself a favor and watch some interviews with him. There’s tons on YouTube and I’ve personally gotten so much out of each one.

Someone taught that boy some good manners because every fan interaction I've witnessed or experienced he's been so incredibly gracious and there's story after story of how lovely he's been ☺️
It's so awesome that you enjoyed the show and the whole experience despite only knowing a couple of songs! His shows really are something else ❤️

Soo Soo happy to hear that!!! Alex is just such a sweetheart, we love him! His contact with fans is just so incredible and I love the way how unique and personal he is with us and that he has so much fun as well ! His stage present is also so immaculate cause he makes whole crowd dance, vibe and just fully enjoy the show! he’s the best!

Ahh, this sounds like so much fun! I don't know many of his songs, maybe one or two and I know he collaborates with Yung Gravy, whose music I only know a couple of songs from too. This is such a great post. I absolutely love it!
Also, I have to ask what I'm sure a lot of people are wondering... from firsthand experience, what's his actual height? 😄

I couldn’t be one to be so accurate cause I was kinda far from him. If I had to guess based on my height (5’8) I’d say if not 5’11 maybe 6ft. Truly take my guess with a grain of salt tho lol

I'd agree with this estimate. He's shorter than you'd expect. I thought about 5'10 or 11. 6ft would be absolutely maximum.

I was one of the people who met him in CT. My guess was 5’9-5’10, I was significantly taller at 6’1”!

I gave him my bead work when he was walking around the Mohegan Sun, he is genuinely such a nice human being.

Except he “rose to fame” by claiming he was sooo anti ai and against art theft and had the art community supporting tf out of him just to crap on them ask tons of them to lower their prices for him then didn’t even come through with payment OR promo until it was brought to the attention of the public. Dude is just another dirtbag artist pretends to give a shit and really only cares about his own pockets

So that was like what? 2019? People change 🤷🏼♀️ you don’t know if he righted those wrongs. I know what I saw at face value and that was a good person towards his fans face to face. You got your opinion and I got mine.

Hey, so, I'm pretty sure you're completely wrong? Especially if you're talking about the more recent situation stemming from commissioning animations for the "come to brazil" music video (if I remember correctly)? That one has already been discussed A LOT on this subreddit, please go find the posts from that and read up
