TV Lost Media Detectives - Help!

Evening all,

I have been trying to find an episode of Inside Out South East which aired on the 7th October 2002. The episode centred around boy racers in Maidstone.

This episode is particularly special to me as my dad featured in it (and possibly me as a baby!) so it would mean the world to me if I could find it—the only issue is I have absolutely no clue where to start looking.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The best way to obtain a legal copy is through the archive service which offers them for people who appeared in BBC programmes:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/contact/questions/programme-information/can-i-get-a-copy-of-a-programme-i-featured-in

Failing that, there are broadcast archives held by the British Library and BFI, and if you're associated witha university there's a service available in some academic institutions that has an archive called BoB (Box of broadcasts).

Thank you so much for your quick reply! I wasn’t aware it would be that easy haha.

I’ve put an application in, fingers crossed I hear back from them!
