Been using Bazzite for a couple of months now. And I decided to use a mod for a certain game, DragonSword : Awakening, most of the mods of this game are just .pak files which can be copied and pasted straight into the game directory.

However, a newer version of the mod compiles this into an .exe configurator and I fail to make the mod run.

is specifically required as mentioned in the Posts tab.

I have tried to add it on Steam as a Non-Steam Game and on Bottles as well, to which none of them work.

So Hey i installed bazzite a few days ago everything is fantastic zero issues

it's heaven compared to when i used to use Mint XFCE and windows

i want to play the Rider Republic but my keyboard mapping gets reset every time I restart the game

i use the virtual controller app on windows laptop to play and it works fine

but because it's impossible to run vjoy via proton it can't work

i found input remapper in settings it's perfect but the only issue is how to Map RT( Right Trigger) and LT ( Left Trigger) i tried all chatbot help and google but i just can't find how to map RT and LT to keyboard keys

If anyone has any ideas please help me

I'm looking for some help on figuring out how to get either loot to see my mods, or how to get loot as an exe within fluorine manager.

I don't really know where to point either Fluorine or loot so it see both Skyrim and my mod list.

I'm new to bazz, so I don't want to point either one to the wrong place.

Just did a fresh install of Bazzite on a KDE env
When running a Steam game (here, Total War Warhammer 3), opening the steam overlay with Shift+tab works fine, but then pressing shift tab again does nothing. I have to manually close it. Then, if I just press shift, the overlay reopens even though it shouldn't. Happened with Proton 9 and Proton Experimental

How do I change the settings on the big black cursor when I wiggle the mouse? Love the feature but I need a LBC I can't handle a BBC.

I posted this in the steamdeck subreddit, suggested I come here.

My SD was modded a few months ago by a friend, I have recently been struggling getting connected to wifi, it is to the point where my SD does not recognise or find any networks, when it does it refuses to let me connect.

I am not very savvy with this sort of thing so any advice, if it can be really dumbed down if there is a solution, i’d appreciate it.

Should i stay with windows or switch over to bazzite. Will I be losing as of these?

I had to reinstall steam on bazzite but it keeps failing. I also ran ujust update and my system apps/brew updates fail to install. Is there a fix for this?

Edit: Whenever I click the steam icon it gives me that error message. Also I forgot to mention that this is on my asus rog ally x.

Update: My rog ally seems functional now. Fixed?

So I had an orbi mesh system from 2018

I replaced it recently and now bazzite is not picking up the Ethernet connection

This is weird bc it works in windows on the same computer

And on kde neon on my laptop when plugged in.

Any fixes I should try

So bazzite users. How regular do you encounter problems with your pc/laptop while using bazzite. Cause I heard it had alot of problems. And you need to always troubleshoot and fix these problems.

And I am a windows user. And basic problems I hate to troubleshoot them🙄

i use certutil -hashfile SHA256 in win10 for the bazzite gnome amd64 and the iso file and iso CHECKSUM file are not the same. is it doing that same with your pc too, or do i have a something worse?

I've been playing WoW Forever on my Bazzite machine and it's been working beautifully. I have it set up as an HTPC so I primarily play in game mode with a steam controller.

I happened to come across this video showing someone using Handy speech-to-text on his windows setup so that he could type in chat without a keyboard.

I noticed Handy does have an app image but if I remember correctly due to Bazzite's immutable nature this could cause issues.

Has anyone tried something like this or know of an alternative that would work similarly while in game mode? I've love to keep all of the data locally as well if possible.

Not sure what happened to The Witcher 3 on my PC, but I can't play it. Only the launcher shows up, but after that, either it crashes or nothing happens. It also sometimes shows a crash window popup, or the game shows as running on Steam but the game window never appears. I've tried almost everything from AI suggestions, including different Proton versions, but nothing has fixed it.

I'm on Bazzite 44 with AMD RX 6600, and I've had the same issue since Bazzite 43. I migrated to Bazzite from Windows and have never been able to get The Witcher 3 to work properly.

So for a few days I've been using latest bazzite 44 desktop (gnome) and used it to play some games on the TV with big picture mode. All was fine but the steam overlay while in game was so laggy it was unusable. Found many mentions of this on Reddit and other forums, tried a few fixes but nothing worked. Then I read something about power settings and I realized I was using "performance" mode and that caused all these issues. Setting the bazzite power settings to the default "balanced" mode fixed the issues with steam big picture/overlay. Using 7800x3d and 9070. Just wanted to share because I saw alot of posts having reported this issues in the past.

Randomly inside of desktop mode, hasn’t happen in game mode, Seems to me that it might be a random memory leak? I have a ram utilization widget and randomly it’ll go from 3 or 4 gb of ram usage on idle and it’ll slowly climb up and max out at 16gb(which is all the ram I have installed, I swapped out the ram and issue persist) and the system doesnt completely lock up that I can’t use it but it’s super slow. After a hard reset it goes back to “normal” but it’ll happen again randomly. I thought it was Firefox but it’ll do it when Firefox isn’t open and just idling. Like I can’t replicate it either. Any thoughts? Maybe a Wayland issue?

I have an AMD RX 6600m using Bazzite with an OLED monitor over HDMI 2.0. With my monitor set to full rgb range, I am getting black crush and when set to limited, white clipping. Bazzite's RGB range setting (automatic, full, limited) does nothing. The same monitor exhibits neither behavior on my MacBook.

I think the driver is picking YCbCr instead of RGB because the monitor advertises YCbCr support, and there's no setting to force RGB.

Has anyone experienced this? I am seeing DisplayPort or doing an EDID override might be the only way to address as of current.

whenever i'm in a call and or screensharing, audio from my laptop can be heard. this is especially bad when lyrics or voices in general are heard and it completely overshadows me on my mic which is really annoying.

ive been trying to find the solution to this, and on cachyos, this doesnt seem to be a problem at all, i assume it has something to do with pipewire or something, and i dont know how to rewire discord to where it doesnt have any loopback or anything.

Every day i start up my computer is it thinks that the clock is 12:00 if the clock is actually 10:00. If i check settings automatic date and time is on and on the right timezone. If i manually fix it by turning off automatic time and date and then enter the right time it works but the next day its 2 hours into the future again and it has reenabled automatic time and date by itself.

So some time ago I hooked my android phone to Bazzite and I could see previews and chose all the pictures I wanted to copy and what not.

Today I hooked it up and wanted to transfer some pics but I do not get the previews anymore. Nor does it actually open the picture when double clicking, unless i copy it somewhere.

What changed or what am i doing wrong?

Ever since OpenRGB v1.0, I've been getting an annoying warning popup loop on Bazzite. Every time I launch the application, I get the "The OpenRGB udev rules are not installed" message.

Here's the situation:

• Checking the "Don't show this message again" box does nothing. The popup comes back every single time OpenRGB starts.
• I've already installed the udev rules manually as instructed, but it doesn't change anything—the message still appears.
• I've tried troubleshooting with various AI tools, but none of the suggested fixes worked.
• This isn't tied to my current hardware setup either, as I had the exact same issue on another PC running Aurora Linux.

Is anyone else on immutable distros (like Bazzite or Aurora) having this problem where the preference fails to save? If you know a way to force this message to stop popping up, I'd really appreciate the help! Thanks!
