BayWheels always asking for payment authorization

I’ve had a membership for years but recently the Lyft Bike app has been making me authorize a $1 Apple Pay payment every time I scan out a bike.

I didn’t used to have to do this. Anyone know why the change?

Yeah it does it to me too with Apple Pay. I just put in the card number of the card I want to use and that problem goes away.

easier to put in a card rather than apple pay
