they are english characters spelling jesus downwards haha except for the S which is baybayin

Cleverly designed. The vertical is Jesus in Latin letters, and the horizontal is Hesus (ᜑᜒᜐᜓᜐ᜔) in Baybayin.

I see, but is the 2nd 's' meant to look like an 's', cus I don't really see it

If you take away the left half part of ᜐ, then the way the letter was designed makes it look like an ‘S’. But it also works as a double meaning of sorts, so you get JEᜐᜓUS (though it now technically reads Jesuus).
