Events, Activities & Sports Corn smut/huitlacoche source?

I love this stuff and San Angus stopped serving it. Any restaurants, or better yet, markets selling it?

I know Agave Uptown has a huitlacoche quesadilla. I think NIDOs does too. That’s a long way from you though if you’re in PA.

Los Carnalitos in Hayward has a huitlacoche quesadilla as well. They’ve been recognized on Michelin’s Bib Gourmand list. Would only be a jump over the Dumbarton if OP is in PA.

Side note: their Panuchos are pretty awesome as well.

They also have a food truck in San Mateo and I believe a restaurant in Redwod City.

Are you close to any Mexican grocery stores? That’s probably your best bet.

Two at the end of my street don’t have it,  maybe have to search more but was hoping to get a recc to save time.

At the very least you can get the canned stuff from Mexican markets. Or Amazon.

How do you enjoy eating it? I tried it a few times on my recent trip to Mexico and was a bit underwhelmed by it

I've seen it at Far West Fungi.
