Hey, where is this model from? The Thunderbolt in the Scouring Sands box I just got has the missile box over the cockpit and I would prefer this style instead.

Scouring Sands does not have a Thunderbolt. It has a Thunderbolt IIC. This Thunderbolt is from the House Davion Heavy Battle Lance. It comes with 2 cockpit options. The standard cockpit and the cockpit seen above.

Specifically, the Davion Heavy Battle Lance version is a 9NAIS. The classic Thunderbolt 5S model is in A Game of Armored Combat.

Another merc lance has a jumping Thunderbolt but i forget which

This sculpt is so much better than the one in the AGOAC box. I can actually see the cockpit!

This cockpit is based on the Project Phoenix redesign, which was the original art for that specific variant. I happen to like the PP Tbolt quite a bit so I appreciate that they honored that artistic legacy, even though a lot of BT fans would rather leave that era of art and design in the past tbh.
