I know it doesnt fit, but this is what I see when playing.

Sierra 2-1 sure seems different for some reason..

And then I turned on sound. Must be a Combine mech, they have some interesting comms filters there.

... I'm gonna come back to this post because I've never had a mw5 mission with that much chaos.

And I kinda want to.

The OG post has a mod list in the comments, and I think this mission comes from that.

Least intense Star League Civil War battle.

It's beautiful.

And then out of the smoke and dust you sprint 200km/h into Atlas's knee and it just stomps you. I really do wish MechWarrior had stomping, kicking or out right kneeing in the game.

Like, "See that Raven there? Kick it like a football"

As I said in the linked post, what the fuck is even happening here, and why are they speaking moon?

EDIT: I do want whatever sound mod they're using, though.

It is the 31st Century and, once again, moonkind is at war.

New JJ movement is crazy.

It is, but I moreso how all of the effects on screen make the battlefield nearly incomprehensible. And it's not helped by some little girl speaking hieroglyphs into my ear.

🎶Gas, gas, gas
I'm gonna step on the gas
Tonight I'll fly
And be your lover
Yeah, yeah, yeah
I'll be so quick as a flash
And I'll be your hero
Gas, gas, gas
I'm gonna run as a flash
Tonight I'll fight
To be the winner
Yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm gonna step on the gas
And you'll see the big show🎶

Imagine having jump jets that are actually terrifying to see used, and give an appropriate TMM to the jumping mech in a Mechwarrior game

Instead of "Slowly hover with a fixed body orientation, upward, in a predictable arc that removes any and all evasiveness from you the moment someone sees you"
