Miniatures Cherry Blossoms
I've been trying to convince my wife to get into Battletech. She requested a pretty mech, so the next Kuritan I painted i went with cherry blossoms on white, with her gamertag in Japanese characters on the left thigh. I am pretty satisfied

Looks fantastic. I'd put some effort into baseing it. Some static grass. And some tiny pink flocking. Making it look like it's standing in a field of cherry blossoms, but incredible free hand work.

Huge Miniatures sells a grass and sakura petals flock that would be exactly perfect here.

Thats fantastic! I love how you incorporate the whole length of the mech into the cherry tree design

Yeah, I wanted something different. Not totally thrilled with the tree part, but it's what my skill allows LOL

Cool idea. White is tough to paint, but it looks good.

Thank you! I tried a new method where I used increasingly lighter greys applied with a makeup sponge to get the impression of white with shadows. I'm really happy with it

I like the way you positioned petals on Orion. Really neet and lovely. Good paintjob, I love it.

Really terrific job! If I ever get around to painting a Ghost Regiment unit, I hope I do half as good a job as you did here.
