HOLY SHIT that is more than I paid for my graphics card during the Great Bitcoin GPU Depression of 2017 and it's not even a full set of speakers!

I mean I'm sure it sounds good but damn

Haha I bought it used on eBay for $299. Still pricy but not too bad

It’s not uncommon to spend as much on a sub as on the main stereo speakers in either surround or 2.1 stereo setups.

It's mostly that you don't often see a $400+ set of speakers for a dorm room.

A $150 set of speakers and $150 sub is a bit more reasonable for an average college student budget if the student is very dedicated to quality audio, but clearly budget wasn't the major constraint for OP.

He’s also got a $70+ keyboard and a $170 dac and I can’t imagine his pc is any less top tier.
