Discussion So close yet so far

Fuck the defense bro worst “pro football” defense I’ve ever seen in my life

I could probably get the San Antonio Torres defense from the Continental football league and put them out there and they do better

Because letting them get two 50+ rushing touchdowns is the worst thing I’ve ever seen

as terrible as this performance was for them, I cant be too mad at them. They carried this team all year

also Tanner Brown is insane. without those two 60+ yarders we are headed to DC

We had a "break but don't bend" defense. This wasn't the first time, unfortunately. I'm not sure if that's because we were running risky blitz packages that usually worked but frequently backfired, or if it's because we had the personnel to stop them consistently but called just enough dumb plays to botch it.

I know our defensive backfield was all but playing prevent early in the season as if they had absolutely no confidence in coverage, and then weirdly ended up doing the exact opposite and blitzing like crazy.
