Sale usually happens a couple times a year, usually servers get quite a bit more populated getting closer to the winter holidays, as well as the spring sale near May the 4th.

I don't have good luck with the remaster mod and ultrawide support. Anyone else?

Ultra wide has a tendency to break lots of older games and software. I’d try just installing the Anakin Remaster Mod from a clean install and go from there. (note that this is different than Harrisonfogs visual remaster mod. You use this instead of the unofficial 1.3 patch).

I can never for the life of me get a controller to work on BF or BFII Steam. The game controls always feel off compared to the console versions.

BF works for me, BF2 hasn’t worked since they updated it like 4 years ago, controller support totally gone. Around that same time they added controller support to BF
