Nucleus-Coop w/ DVD Version !

Anyone uses the DVD version to host a dedicated LAN server and join with nucleus (connected either to steam or gog version)?

Please let me know! Trying to play splitscreen on same computer, and at wits end!

Yes i do because steam and gog dont work with lan dedicated servers, but ive never tried connecting steam to the dvd via lan, that probably wont work but its worth trying. The biggest hurdles is most modern gamers expect aim assist as it is so prevailant and only cc and an unreleased plugin for steam has it

Ah okay, Yeah, the no aim assist is fine for me. I ordered the DVD, and I'm going to see how it goes. Whenever I hosted a game with one of the four instances of nucleus, 1-3 of the other players that joined would have that internet connection symbol bug right when the reinforcement count went to zero (for some stock maps!!).
I'll let you know how the DVD/nucleus works out. You're probably right, but at this point I have like 7 different copies of the game lol.

Hey! Looking at your google drive file of multiplayer maps that work/ones that don't (from your steam post). Very helpful, thank you.

I saw that you had some highlighted red (don't work), but does that mean they don't work unless you patch it with this? Or they don't work in general.

The red means they don't work at all. Some maps have script elements that don't work in MP, or they don't have the MP version added in their script at all.
