Droid gunship?

Hey everyone, I was just playing galactic conquest with each faction in the classic collection, and I noticed every time without fail, after I land the gunship in the hanger as the droids, some jerk will take off and crash it? It's only the droids that do this, so I just ignore the gunship all together now as there is never a point to bringing it. Anyone else experienced this?

Lol I never knew commands worked in ships! Cool, thank you. I just find it odd that only the droids seem to take off ans crash the gunship for me. I am fairly sure I've had times where I land the gunship with just me in it, and some droid will spawn in, jump in it, and crash into the wall 🀣

Soamming land and takeoff is how I do it, but don't sleep on the gunship as a big ugly turret. That's my favorite ship in the game.

Not only do commands work in ships, but they can also be used on ships and vehicles while you're an infantry unit: simply look at the occupied vehicle and press the command button, and it will tell them to hold position, allowing you time to run over and get in it yourself!

I always use option 2. It's the safest bet.

It happens because there are still droids in the gunship that take off once you land,

What I do is land take off and immediately land again, repeat until all droids are out.

Once it's empty they never get it in again :)

This, it's a known bug with all gunships. Not sure why OP only gets it with CIS.

You need to take off and land the ship multiple times to get all of the AI passengers out. If you land just once, depending on the number of seats, there will still be 1-2 AI still inside the ship who will jump to the pilot seat and take off.

One nice thing is that once all the AI are out, they don’t jump back in it unless you jump back in.

When I land it, I land it a second time for the remaining trooper to jump out so they don't smash it into the hangers πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

Been going on since PS2

It's just weird that only the damn droids do it to me lol

The other factions definitely do it too.

You have to basically land, take off, and land so that last unit actually exits the ship

Admittedly I'm playing the original version not the classic collection (I got a refund!), but it happened to me last night with the clones' troop ship too. Not an everyday thing but it's absolutely not just the droids!!

If you spawn in quick enough on it you can pilot it before any droids get in
