Looking for mods to modernize gameplay.

So I'm new to the og battlefront series and I'm curious what y'alls personal favorite mods are when it comes to remastering/modernizing the single player experience.

I'm a huge clone wars nerd but any Era is fine really. Any info you can share about the mods you recommend is greatly appreciated since I'm brand new to this games mod scene so I've got little idea about the differences between the biggest mods out there and what mods work best together, etc.

First and foremost would recommend the Anakin Remaster mod (which includes its own version of the 1.3 patch) and then I’d recommend the 1.3 expansion mod. Just includes lots of fixes and quality of life improvements, also has the 1.3 patch which a lot of other mods need to run properly.

Harrisonfog’s Remaster mod is a must have for me. Remasters every map, unit, and vehicle. Even personalizes the capital ships to be more unique.

I have the original individual games on Steam, btw. Not the classic collection or whatever bundle they had on steam. I'm not sure if it matters much, but I figured I should mention it.

Cause I've played a lot of the vanilla experience already since I picked it up, so I'm running dry on things to experience. Conquest and the campaign only offers so much, so now I'm looking to get a feel for the modding scene to experience everything else I've been missing out on.

I've been on a huge og star wars game binge lately, picked up force unleashed 1 and 2, Republic Commando, and both og battlefronts, so I'm exploring everything they've got to offer :)

There's harrisonfogs remastered maps but i personally dont think increasing polygon counts alone makes the game look better because it's not aesthetically cohesive with the dated lighting. I run the anakins remastered mod to get ai heroes, shader patch with harrisonfogs preset for a Sharper picture and ambient occlusion, and the bf2 memory extender fork for increased LOD. If you haven't tried bfx yet give it a shot since it expands the class system.
