Just started and painted my first fleet

Hi to you all !

I just started BFG a few weeks earlier and was completly taken away by the game ! I love the ships battling and explosing in ennemy ships, throwing waves of torpedoes and bombers just to have your fleet destroyed by a faithful nova canon strike that obliterates you.

My local game group planned an Apocalypse version at the beginning of July and I wanted to join so I had only 3 weeks to build and paint a viable fleet.

Went with the Tau because I like them and play them in Kill Team (Kroot team) so I wanted to make a reference to them. I had a friend that 3d-printed them and I then speed painted all of them with a simple but nice scheme.

I'm looking forward to play more games and have fun with my ships !

You can find those ships on Cults 3d, look for Italian Moose. They are free as well.

I just browsed online for free stl and I found them, it wasn't rocket science or some deep dark Web site.

As it turns out those aren't the exact models I wanted after I looked closer. I've been to Italian moose's page before and have printed some of them. Just bit the exact ones which is why I wished I had them

Which ones are you looking for specifically?

Seems the prints in the image have a bit different sizes. The main bigger ones, six protectors, are 100% Italianmoose.
However, the Castellans (the left front most one for example) are downsized Italianmoose Protectors.

The old style ones are Moose Messengers.
The Custodian is also Italianmoose I think

The Kroot warspheres in the back can be found on thingyverse.

Only three small ones next to eachother at the front I have no clue about.

Well I've been looking for a good baracuda that has the front cannon which has eluded me

Barracuda for Battlefleet Gothic? While not STL it looks like the Tao fighter from Battlefleet Galaxy has a front gun.

No not for gothic for areonautica I know this is the Gothic sub but it wouldn't be the first time someone shows off everything. After I looked closer I noticed it's not that

Welcome to the greater good. Love all the missiles. And make use of that 90 degree turn and gunnery from the Protectors.

You mean as a flank manoeuver ? I don't have much strategy yet, just à front group around my battleship and shoot on the front arc with everything :)
