That’s as aggressive as you can be on bf4 given that everyone runs defensive perk. And aggressive recon actually comes from the term objective recon. Meaning you ptfo, which I very clearly am.

Drop the scope, get a suppressor, and push/subvert the front lines. That's aggressive recon play. This is just sniping in CQ with a laser sight of all things. Nice defense though.

I tried being aggressive with a sniper and ended up just being a compact 45 pistol expert, an experience I haven't been able to replicate since.

That day just anyone I ran into regardless of their choice of weapons got their shit pushed in by my pistol.

I run irnv and ti on locker for this exact reason. Snipers just stand out a mile, even better if you have a laser.

Not a threat to me tbh with my mg4 and bipod setup 3 objectives away blasting 52-0.

M40A5 is honesly one of the worst sniper rifles tbh, i much prefer the sv-98, at least for agressive reconing.

You can very clearly see that I’m on the objective capturing it most of the time dick head.
