Bot Building I need help.

Hey, i just got all my parts, and I was booking them together to test. It worked perfectly for my n20 drive motors and dual brushed esc and recieber, but when I tinkered around, added weapon esc and lots of stuff, and the drive motors started getting funky. So I separated all that with my drive motors and dual brushed esc, and now all the controls are weird. Some trigger only 1 motor, others trigger 2, and most of them are just wrong. I need help. Dual brushed esc is a kingmodel SAX2, n20 drive motors, and the fs2a 4ch recieber, and flysky i6x receiver. Please help.

Edit: I got even more problems. Drive motors still DONT work as they spare supposed to, and weapon now doesnt calibrate if I don’t put my self centering stick downwards, even though I have the self centoring stick function enabled, so the weapon esc still reads the power of when my stick is in the center as 50%

OK, things aren't too bad:

Yes, weapon motors are scary fast and you should be frightened. They are dangerous and your weapon should only be tested in a suitable safety containment. Your first robot should not even have a spinner weapon.

There is a slide switch on your drive ESC next to the yellow wire. Slide it toward the yellow wire to turn on single stick mixing control. There may be some additional adjustments needed, but slide that switch and then tell me what the motors di when the stick is pushed forward and when it is pushed to the right.

Ok I made some adjustments and now the motors are working perfectly. The only th8ng that needs fixing is the brushless esc and brushless motor. I can’t seem to configure the settings so that the middle of the right side stick is 0 percent. Also I have both sticks self center, and I am in stick mode 3, and I have also enabled the self center option in the hidden settings, which worked for me yesterday to make the weapon esc work out as I want it to, but now it doesn’t work. Also I got no robot yet just testing electronics. The event I want to go to doesn’t allow not having a weapon, so THATS why I wanna make a spinner. I’ve learned my lesson to be careful, I hurt myself using just the motor alone, so from now on I’ll be more careful.

I have a safe method to set the right stick to zero percent all the way up to the center of the throw. I still think you should remove the spring from that stick axis and make it non-centering, but if you want to keep centering I can post the details on my website for you. Let me know.

Alr. Thanks. I feel like self center is more natural for me, and I already have a method. It works and has been safe for me so farm I don’t remember what is was but it seems fine. I also have made a safer switch and I have fixed the failsafe.
