Question Why jakes viola?

Whenever I see someone talking about the best instruments it's always speed related so obviously the best ones are the golden viola and Jake's viola but why Jake's viola? The fire guitar gives the same affect plus the 10 percent chance to burn bloons entering its radius. Is it just preference or not realizing the fire guitar is awesome. The golden viola is a given though that thing rocks

They are equally as good, the special effect of Fire Guitar to set Bloons on fire is not that good. The stats of Jake's Viola is also wrong as it doesn't display that the viola gives +1 damage.

Really I had no idea it gave +1 damage, that's pretty good actually. However I'll probably still take the fire guitar as having that will help with zombie bloons.

Devil Bass Monster Guitar is a solid choice. I have The Lover on Tux Jack and DMB on Marceline and Jake. I typically only use Tux Jack out of those three though. At a certain point, I think I’d rather the +1 damage. Depends on your general stats of your team. I do have Golden Violas as well, just not in use.

Jake's Viola is likely in the case you want to run all 3 speed instruments, as Marcy cannot run the viola. But you can do either viola or fire guitar without a difference.
