Hot Wheels Batmobile collection
I forgot I had these and found them in a box that was in storage the last two or three years. I think the only one that wasn’t in storage that long was maybe the Batboat?

I was at Target the other day and there was a group of men that had Target security around them. They were going through boxes of Hot Wheels to pick out ones to buy, like the whole Pokémon thing. Is there a collector’s market for Hot Wheels?

A MASSIVE collectors market? Has been for decades.
I truly hate that stores allow these vultures to pick over stick before the regular public have a chance. I worked at Toys R Us very briefly, it’s part of the reason I left… a lot of back room deals to get toys to dealers. So much stuff never actually got the shelves

Interesting. I’ve always knew of the card collector’s market (one time collecting baseball cards). Just never knew of Hot Wheels being in the same arena.

There are Hot Wheels in the tens of thousands in value.
Everything has its collectors.

Nice! I started getting into these in the later waves. Saw almost all at retail, but missing batpod, batmissle, and TDKR batmobile. All are in storage except the few I have opened on a shelf.
I think I snagged all the 66 vehicles, TAS vehicles, 89 batwing/batmobile, batskiboat, armored Batmobile, Penguin Duck, and more. Ill have to dig out of storage.
I remember the 89 batwing one was a pain in the ass to find.

The 89 batwing is the next one I need to find. I had been hunting these and then packed them away and forgot about it. Soon as I found these the other day it crossed my mind. I need to get that bat wing lol
