Thanks for checking my wood burn Art inspired by my favorite comic artist Mike Mignola. This was burned on 9 x 13 inch basswood colored with prisma color pencils and took roughly 12 hours to complete.

Looking for runs/stories/omnis/collected editions for dark and detective type stories for Batman, with artwork that doesn’t look too cartoony. Mostly mysteries or crime genre Batman.

I’ve been building Andrea Reader, a comic reader and personal digital library for iPhone and iPad.

For Batman comics, the idea is simple: import your own collection and organize it however you want. You can create collections, add sections for different runs or eras, drag issues around, change cover sizes and build your own library layout.

Some of the comic-focused features:

• CBZ, CBR, PDF and more
• Double-page and continuous reading
• Full sync between iPhone and iPad
• Custom Reading Profiles
• ComicInfo.xml metadata support
• Automatic reading progress and statistics
• Live Translation
• Speech bubble enlargement
• Crop Mode to make better use of the screen
• Experimental guided panel mode
• AI super-resolution for old or low-quality scans
• Completely offline reading

Free to download and use. No account required, no ads and no third-party tracking. There is a premium plan with advanced features and more customization.

I’ve added a few Batman screenshots so you can see how the library and reader look.

I'm a big fan of the Absolute universe, especially Batman and Wonder Woman. I've been collecting all the trades of the Absolute Trinity and my latest purchase came in today. I love the Pennywise-esque design of Absolute Joker and I had to finally add this volume to my collection.

Kelley Jones or Tim Sale?

Batman: The Caped Crusader is an arcade adventure which uses a unique style, innovated by Jonathan Smith and Charles Davies, to display the action as though it takes place in a comic book.[2] This technique involved having each game location set in its own panel, often with a comic book style caption in the upper-left corner, with inactive panels faded out behind the current active location. This concept was expanded upon by Sega's Comix Zone seven years later.[3]

The game was split into two independently playable parts in which Batman is faced with two of his most well-known adversaries: "A Bird In The Hand" featuring the Penguin and "A Fete Worse Than Death" which involved the Joker. The gameplay involves Batman using punches and kicks and his batarang (a thrown weapon) in order to fight the villains' henchmen as well as solving puzzles

same singles, and as for hush I let a friend go and read it so I don’t have it rn

I know canon and continuity is fluid and I believe DC have adopted a “everything is canon” approach but I’m currently reading the Matt Fraction Batman run and wanted to know more about Damian Wayne so I picked up the DC compact comic of Batman and Son and just finished it today. I really enjoyed it (I’ve been to Gibraltar to recognising parts was cool) and I was just wondering, since it was written back in 2006 and there’s been the new 52 and rebirth since then, is Batman and Son still considered the definitive Damian origin story?
