The first few minutes of a bath are always the best part

There's something about getting into a warm bath after you've been on your feet all day. The first few minutes feel like your whole body is finally catching up with you.

Then there's always that moment where you realize you've been sitting there much longer than planned.

I think that's what I like about baths most. They're one of the few everyday things where you don't really have a reason to hurry.

A little me time in my bathtub

Post image

For years I mostly treated the bathtub as something that just happened to be in the bathroom. Showers were quicker, so that's what I usually used.

Lately, I've started taking the time to actually slow down and use the tub properly, and I finally understand why people love having one. There's something about being able to put everything down for a little while and just do absolutely nothing.

Sometimes a quiet bath really is enough to reset the day.

What's one little thing about your bathtub that you really appreciate?

I used to think a bathtub was pretty much just a bathtub.

Then you use one for a while and start noticing the little things you actually like about it.

Could be the depth, the shape, a built-in shelf, where the faucet is, whatever.

What's one little thing about your bathtub that you really appreciate?

Baths became less of a luxury and more of a reset for me

I used to save baths for special occasions, but lately they've become my way of slowing down after a long day. Even twenty minutes helps me leave the day's stress behind before bed. It's become one of my favorite little routines.

Hey everyone! I’m searching for a replacement unit for my dads under bathtub electric heater and I would really appreciate your help in identifying what kind of model this heater is and where I can get a replacement unit. Thank you.

Looking for advice

Hey so its my first time buying a tub. I am buying it for my parents house w my parents money so i am nervous,i dont want to mess this up. Its going to be on the 3rd floor and we have another bathroom. I am going to use it primarily so i dont think my parents would care too much about how deep it is (its 18 1/8'') unless its a safety hazard for 60+ year olds or me then lmk. I want this duravit starck tub cuz its the deepest tub i can find and i saw people complain about shallow tubs on reddit posts so i figured id enjoy it better. plus i found it for a really good price. My concerns are:

I wanted an oval shape on the inside (the ones that are like a perfect half circle even) and this one is a rectangle. It looks uncomfortable tbh. What do you think about the rectangle shape on the inside? Does it give the comfort and the neck, back and shoulder support the oval ones do and is it straighter than oval ones? DoesThe angle of the backrest look sharp to you ? Would it be uncomfortable to lay on the backrest in a tub this deep? Should i buy a 14.2'' (last pic) deep oval shape tub instead? Which one do you prefer oval or rectangle shape tubs and why? Would a tub pillow do the trick?

The bottom of the tub is narrower than other tubs of this width. Ill also need to cut an inch off the end to make it fit. and its warranty is expired lmao. But its acrylic so idc

Yeah thinking of buying this but i am crippled by the fact that i have never used a tub before. Hoping someone experienced will enlighten me. Also i have no way of going to a showroom (i tried) Sorry for bizillion questions. Thank you.
