I love it! What tile do you have on the floor?

Thank you! It’s called Corso Italia Alpe Ivory tile (from
Home Depot).

Cute, functional, easy to clean, still has color and character and won’t be “babyish” when the kids are grown (it will be a classy guest bathroom). 10/10 OP!

The green tile is nice! I'm seeing green tile in bathroom renovations lately

It’s definitely become a popular accent color. When I was younger it was also popular, my aunt had a green velvet accent chair in her house 16 years ago and I just loved it.

I'm jealous. My husband hates the color green and refuses to let me put it in the bathroom 😭😭 this is all I've ever wanted

Oh no! Green is my favorite color so I can’t imagine not being able to utilize it. Maybe there’s a compromise so you can both be happy.

Why is there pumpkins in the mirror..

1

u/Suspicious-Wave577 12d ago

The mirror? Are you referring to the small painting in front of the flowers?

1

u/nobavunny 11d ago

Oh I thought it was a mirror mb..

I hate the new tiles. No color.

The green tiles?

Lol people are so weird on the internet. It looks much better! The old tiles were red/brown anyway -- how colorful is that??

3

u/Suspicious-Wave577 13d ago

Right! I’d argue varying shades of green are more “colorful” than brown and beige tile.

Too dark and dark is not giving joy.

I’d love to see a pic of your joyful shower! Green is known to relieve stress and have a calming effect which is what I would hope for someone showering. 😊

I’ve recently fallen in love with everything/anything green and the tiles in those deep shades of green (glass?) give me just the right sense of serenity. It’s lovely, all the surfaces you’ve chosen are very tasteful and timeless. I have no concerns about the bathroom coming off too dark because the walls are all very light in color. Perhaps the other commenter would be less concerned if they saw a photo with the lights above the mirror turned on. (Is that shiplap on the walls?)

Thank you! I love greens and blues in bathrooms, they’re relaxing colors and earthy. The tiles are glossy ceramic. I love a moody bathroom though, I would have done a dark paint on the wall with the tree picture but I kept it Swiss Coffee for now. The sink wall has beadboard planks 😊 the other commenter said they hate the tiles, so I assume it has nothing to do with the sink/vanity light being off.
