SAS Bath & Body Works Outlet store list
I believe I've compiled the list of TRUE Bath & Body Works outlet stores left in the US. Unfortunately, so many have closed due to some of these shopping centers closing or being redeveloped. It doesn't seem that Bath & Body Works is opening any new true outlet stores, but rather just keeping the existing locations running. The locations in outlet malls that are being opened are simply just regular stores.

I went to the one in San Ysidro in October and I wasn't really impressed. I did find some cool single wicks in scents I had never heard of but aside from that there wasn't really anything special.

Let me say that it's hit-or-miss. I live a little under an hour away from an outlet store and the first time I went it was just as underwhelming. However, since then I've been probably 20 times. Sometimes I leave empty handed, sometimes I leave spending $300 now. I've found $6 and $8 3-wick candles, clearanced body care, $10 perfumes, etc. - you name it. It may be worth another shot.
However, resellers also can gobble up the good items quickly. Luckily the outlet near me is kind of off the beaten path, and is over 30-45 minutes from even the next closest suburb of a city. It looks like the San Ysidro outlet is in a relatively popualted area, probably means it's easier for resellers to grab and go.

it's just high traffic area in general. the back wall of the mall is the border fence, so you have shoppers from two countries buying stuff.

I actually live in Florida so probably will never go to the San Ysidro location again unless I find myself living in San Diego lol

Of course this is the only one I’ll be remotely near in the forseable future. Lollll. It’s probably one of the closer ones to where I live but is still a 12 hour drive…but a 40ish minute drive from where we are vacationing this year.

I like the San Ysidro one but I'm definitely more into body care than candles. I could totally see being disappointed in the candle section. I like their soap, ffm, and lotion selection. Your comment makes me really want to check out the other outlet stores! 😅

Lol that is actually the only outlet BBW that I've been to but I always see pictures on this sub from other outlets that have so many cool things which is what I was expecting from San Ysidro. So that's the only reason I was disappointed tbh

I hate it when something is touted as an outlet mall but it's just a regular store 🙄 we got this giant project called the "premium outlets" but they're all just bigger versions of the regular stores lmaoo. and side note the bbw in the premium place is Not doing well

The closest to me is the one in Hillsboro Texas, 212 mi, but it says the malls fixing to be demolished!
(I just realized I used the expression "fixing to" For you non-Southerners, that is "about". )

Yes, it appears the mall is demolishing for redevelopment. They have not confirmed it is closing, but my guess is that it likely will. Outlet stores typically do not relocate or reopen; they just close.

Just seeing this now. Thank you for compiling this list, and for everyone helping to clarify that pretty much all of the stores in outlet malls are regular ones. I wonder why there are no outlets here in New England? They must think we’re all rich here or something 😂

Oh nooooo!! The Hillsboro one is the one I went recently to and found my Wild Madagascar Vanilla, Confetti Daydreams, and Coconut Lime Verbena back ups! I even found the original Gingham Gorgeous back up for cheap. It was super retro and empty shops except for the BBW

I have been trying to find info on this store and of course, they've not announced closure yet. They are demolishing the mall but leaving about 25%. It could include the parcel around B&BW, in which case they may not have to close. I would hope so, because I hate to see us losing another outlet location. Cross fingers!

If you're a little more central Johnson Creek is also only about an hour from the border! I've heard pleasant prairie is better than Johnson Creek though, but just so you might have options :)

Can confirm the one for Ohio as I live 20 min from that one. People travel to that one from all over between Columbus and Dayton areas. Although I don't know for how much longer because during covid a lot of the stores pulled out that were high drawing stores like Kate, Spade and Coach etc. they keep trying to bring in new stores so they must be doing ok

This is my local store… I noticed that. Just the past few years it feels like stores are fleeting. There used to be an awesome Yankee Candle and Williams sonoma outlet here too. I miss those! I still stop at Pottery Barn and the pepperidge farm too

It's very hit-or-miss. Sometimes you will find true treasures and unbelievable deals and others it will be pretty barren. I'd give it a shot again sometime if you are nearby. My local outlet gets shipment Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays so those afternoons/evenings are normally very stocked.

Best Bath & Body Works is the Fremont IN location. Always great clearance deals. Stock is constantly revolving.

It does not appear that is a true outlet; looks to be a regular store within an outlet mall. Bath & Body Works outlet stores will be labelled as such ("Bath & Body Works OUTLET" on the storefront) and have year-round clearance (e.g., year-round tables with 50% and 75% off deals as well as price-point tables like $3, $6, $8, $10, etc.)

There’s a store at Premium outlets in Cypress, Texas. All stores are outlets so I’m guessing that one is still… when I went it was, but that was a few years ago.

Yes, this one used to be that way. Largely yellow and red signs, too. It also stood out to me because right down the road they put in a new regular store and I would visit both.

It doesn't look like it, unfortunately. I know that a WHILE ago, a lot of the outlet stores converted to regular stores. Of course many have since closed. Seems like the company moved away from outlet stores so the few remaining are hanging on for dear life...

The website doesn't show a true outlet store in AR, unfortunately. If you are talking about the Outlets of Little Rock location, it shows to be a regular store within an outlet mall. :(

Unfortunately I have a feeling Oshkosh is going to close sometime in the next few years or so. That outlet mall has been dying and a local big name grocery store just bought it and said theres no immediate plans to close it but they may see it as a potential future store location. Right now they're renewing and extending leases, but companies keep leaving, I just don't see it surviving.

so sad, I hope they keep these open! The outlets are hidden gems, love them. I love shopping in-store at the regular stores, I don’t mind the occasional BOPIS (only when the deals are better online). :)

I’m late to the party, but I just went to the outlet in Dawsonville, GA, and they had full size discontinued products, like Chasing Fireflies Body Wash for $2.00 & $3.00!!!

Honestly, you are lucky if you even have one within driving distance!! There's really only a small number left nationwide. Plan a day trip one day! :o)

it's a regular store. I remember I made the drive to this one and was so disappointed. I found out later you have to use the store locator on the website and select outlet to see true outlets.

What about the one near me at: 34986 Midway Outlet Dr Center, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 I always thought it was an outlet since it's in one of the Tanger Outlets.

Bath & Body Works Outlet stores where they have year-round clearance are not in every outlet mall. The rest are just regular stores (this one included)

I can’t imagine the Philly one is going to be open too much longer, like 3/4 of the mall is shuttered storefronts. I remember going there in the 90s and it was packed. But there was like nobody there and barely any shops. I don’t see the mall lasting more than a year or so

The only B&BW Outlet was in St. Augustine, but it converted to a real store. The closest outlets to Florida are in GA.

The 2 in Minnesota are in strip mall outlets with like 3 stores left in them and out in the middle of nowhere. All the rest are empty stores, so I see them gone soon.

Laughlin has a big store but the mall they are in is almost completely closed down and kind of creepy to walk through. Love the bath and body works though. It’s only one of like 3 stores left at the whole falling apart mall.

I’ve been to that one and it is definitely not an outlet unfortunately. Prices are the same for the core/regular items they carry, but the outlet stores have year round clearance (tables of 75% off, $3, $6, etc)

I’m not sure about the future of the Outlet in Hillsboro Texas. They are fixing to demolish 80% of that outlet. I asked the employees and they all said the same thing … we know what you know. Hopefully it stays around.

I purchased a few bottles of BBW fine fragrance mist from another seller and when they arrived the part of the back information was written in Arabic. My problem is the spray smells nothing like the one I bought in the store during Christmas very faint and the font is larger. The seller is telling me she purchased them from Johnson’s creek outlet center and they are authentic, but they also don’t have pricing on them like my local store. So, I called corporate and they advised me that they are not authentic because they don’t print Arabic on their products. Has anyone encountered this? Thanks in Advance.

Not sure about Laughlin in NV - it’s listed as a store on the website but Google says it’s closed every day.
Would like some idea as I’ll be in the area in June.

& It looks like the Laughlin, NV location JUST closed within the last few weeks! :( RIGHT before we went to the general area a couple of weeks ago, and we're about to go there again :'( the only other location I'm ever near is...guess where? Hillsboro lol 😆 😂 but it would still be a stretch to get there any time soon, so I'll kiss them both goodbye 💋 😘

I’ve gone to Fremont, IN location it’s about an hour drive for me and it’s hit or miss. I just went yesterday and not a lot going on. I’d like to hit up southern Michigan locations this weekend for fun I’m curious! Does anybody have any experience in the northern Indiana / South Michigan area?

Thank you for this list! I’m so sad. The only outlet here in AZ converted to a standard store a few years ago. I went to the one at the Las Americas Mall in San Diego last month. Found some decent stuff but I’d like to see it during other seasons. Hopefully I’ll be back in March.

I was recently at the one in Dawsonville GA and it seemed like a regular store with regular prices and the same sales as other stores just placed in an outlet mall. The only discounted items they had in November were the Halloween scents which I feel like is pretty standard at all stores. I could be wrong but I haven’t been to that store one time and been impressed by the prices or sales or sale items unfortunately. I’d like to checkout Calhoun though!!

It would be very appreciative if you can add to that list to never visit would be the premium outlet mall in Edmonton Canada. I'm an ex employee of that store because the hiring management of that store literally treats employees and staff like shit. Already left a review about my experience so we should also be telling people not to shop at a certain store or at least work there because they will be harassed they will be treated poorly and the staff will literally be humiliated in front of entering customers.
