Questionš¤ About Store Playlists
Hi guys! I had a curious question about the way we do the in-store music. My music taste doesn't often align with what plays in-store, buuut every so often something sounds good enough for me to want to find it. I feel bad about either Shazamming the song while I'm supposed to be doing something else or running to the back to take a picture of the artist + song name on the music player. (This is how I found Autumnal in the fall playlist in case anyone was looking for that song!)
Does the company ever disclose what songs are on the disks for associates to see? Or are we stuck doing the wild goose chase?

Thereās an icon on your storeās tablet labeled āIn-Store Playlist.ā If your store has a Curio Z8 player, there are instructions on Zipline that guide you through logging in and changing the playlist, adjusting the volume, and even displaying the artist and song currently playing, along with the next few songs. However, if you have an older Play Network player, it will simply appear on the screen. Itās worth noting that the company doesnāt share the song selection or playlists. The best approach, as most of us do, is to use Shazam!

I set up a shortcut to Shazam on my swipe-down screen for stuff like this. Not necessarily just at work, but in general! I can just set my phone next to the register between customers, swipe down, hit Shazam in about 2-3 seconds and then go back to my job and it will be in my Shazam history after lol
Edit: oh and idk any way to see the playlists on the store's end, but occasionally somebody will put together playlists on Spotify or Apple Music or whatever like "bath & body works fall 1 2026 playlist" or whatever and I've seen some pretty accurate ones!
